Will a Television Remake 'Bewitch' Us?

Are Americans sick of remakes yet? CBS has seen much success with its modern adaptation of 'Hawaii Five-0', so it should come as no surprise that the network is now considering investing in a 'Bewitched' reboot.  And, while according to Entertainment Weekly the remake is "still in very early stages," we're curious about how Americans might feel about the show's revival.

In 2005, 'Bewitched' was remade into a movie starring Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell.  However, the film opened to mostly negative reviews by critics and was generally not well-received by audiences.

But maybe it was just not meant for the movies.  Perhaps television will resurrect the charming and witty 'Bewitched' that audiences fell in love with in the '60s and '70s.  We certainly look forward to seeing the pilot episode for CBS' latest remake!
