We've had fun these past few months posting our favorite videos and relating everything back to promotional products. Because, lets face it...everything relates back to promotional products. Regardless of that fact, we're gonna be changing it up a little. We'll still be posting favorite videos from YouTube and anything that's about (you guessed it!) promotional products will be sure to make an appearance as well. But this the TV Blog and we've vastly ignoring that subject in all its forms. Maybe the powers that be thought we would get too distracted talking about all our favorite TV shows. Anyone who has ever heard me talk about NCIS or spoken to Anthony about LOST can attest that we do love the tube. But the winds of change have blown in our favor and Motivators TV will now be talking about...TV!
So stay tuned in the next few days, weeks, and months as our staffers vent, gripe, and praise all their favorite shows. I'll go first. I'm welcoming Keri to the NCIS addiction club. Finally all my yammering on about this show has worn someone down. I tend to not force it on people, I just wait for them to see the light themselves. And since the USA networks new VP of programming is slightly obsessed with NCIS (as much as I am!), the channel doesn't just run back to back episodes...they run back to back to back episodes! 3 episodes of NCIS all in a row. Could anything make me happier? Maybe world peace, but since that's not in the cards anytime soon, I'll stick with my daily dose of Gibbs. Anywho, it was this daily mini marathon that got Keri addicted, and when I say addicted I mean ADDICTED. Just last week, we went out to lunch and at Keri's first free moment in conversation it was "Ok, let's talk about NCIS." And then, last night when she made her way through the season 1 finale I was getting text messages all throughout the episode. She even warned her soon to be fiance, that if she were to turn on the finale, he would have to leave her alone because she would be "in the zone." I completely understand, Keri and welcome to the club. It's the best show that everyone's not watching.
Well, several million people are watching because according to the ratings, NCIS was in the number 2 spot on Tuesday night (second of course to America's guiltiest pleasure, American Idol.) But as far as Motivators goes, it's just me and Keri that love the NCIS. And as long as I have someone to talk to about it, I'm good. I know it's not for everyone but can 13.4 million people be wrong? So give it a chance. Trust me, I'm not usually wrong about this things. Am I Ker?
