I used by super handy Target gift card that I won for placing third in our Halloween costume contest to make a wise investment. I bought Scrubs Season 7. My collection is now complete (laughs maniacally). The only thing is though, that now that I've spent this past weekend catching up on it, I just can't wait for Season 8. There wasn't supposed to be one but thanks to the wonderful folks at ABC, there will be. Of course it won't include such classic characters such as Franklin the Lab Tech or Gift Shop Girl because NBC has refused to sign off on Masi Oka (Franklin) or Sarah Lancaster (Gift Shop Girl) taking time out of their work on current NBC productions (Masi Oka is Hiro on Heroes, Sarah Lancaster is Ellie on Chuck) to go to guest on a rival network's show. Bill Lawerence and NBC did not part ways pleasantly. But the bottom line is that it doesn't matter! Scrubs is back! Wonder what promotional products they'll use to promote it's new home? Aside from youtube of course.

I am not much of a guy who thinks in so deeply about web design but I think your post had some valid points in it. Like designers are forced to design stuff within the limited code available and not go beyond it, their innovation is somewhat limited but still I think Web Design won't die! I agree that Amazon and other some big sites won't have a blog but now a days it's very important to have some sort of option available so people can quickly communicate their thoughts. I think Amazon if wants to shift it to that, they can get a customized CMS for themselves.
