For those of you who may not be huge fans of 'Sex and the City,' SJP stands for Sarah Jessica Parker -- the actress who played the series' over-emotional main character, Carrie Bradshaw. The franchise's devotees were crushed after a 2010 movie flopped at the box office, eliminating the possibility of a third film. And while Sarah Jessica Parker will not be directly involved, it appears that Bradshaw and the gang may be returning to TVs as their former selves.

According to MTV, "...There's finally been some movement on 'The Carrie Diaries'--the 'SATC' prequel that takes place during the ladies' senior year of high school and the last best chance for 'SATC' fans to get their Carrie fix just one more time." What makes the possibility of the prequel even more exciting is the fact that it might be in the form of a new CW series starring the likes of Blake Lively and Selena Gomez, reports MTV.
The new installment of the wildly successful franchise could potentially be produced by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, the producers behind the CW's 'Gossip Girl,' reports Entertainment Weekly. What do you think-- would you be interested in a show following a 17-year-old Bradshaw and her comrades?
