Anyone who caught House this past week, knows that they got a huge shock when Kutner (played by Kal Penn, of Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle) was found dead in his apartment by a self inflicted gun shot wound to the head. The explanation behind the shocking departure is that Kal Penn has left the show and the acting community to accept the position of Associate Director in the White House Office of Public Liasons offered to him by President Obama. And good for him...but what about Kutner? Apparently the answer to that one was the aforementioned gunshot to the head.
Wow. Didn't see that coming AT ALL. I haven't watched House in quite a while, I'm still convinced that the show jumped the shark when they broke up the dream team of Cameron, Chase, and Foreman. Sure, it's tried to revive itself but just like Kutner's body...it's dead man. Of course, the hardcore fans are still with the show and good for them. My best friend Kristy for example still watches, and even admits that it's not as good as it used to be. However, there's one piece of promotional apparel that I think any fan of House can appreciate. The It's Not Lupus T-Shirt. I recall that Foreman was usually the culprit for pitching Lupus as the strange mysterious illness that infected the patient of the week. This shirt clearly defines what Lupus is, something that Foreman needs a bit of a refresher on. The back cleverly states the one of the more recognizable phrases from the show. Bluntly and simply it says: "It's Not Lupus"
So if you've ever wondered what Lupus actually is since you've already found out what it's NOT, there's the definition.
And if you'd like the definition of why House moved to Mondays from its usual timeslot of 8PM at Tuesdays, well just like the shirt says, it's not lupus.
It's NCIS. Bwhahahaha....
