I know. What would your Tuesday be without a Motivators Tuesday recap of How I Met Your Mother. Here's is the thing with How I Met Your Mother, its a great show because they take an amazing cast which would make a great sitcom on its own, but they added a mysterious Lost/Heroes-esque background storyline thats follows you from episode to episode. For the most part they have done a great job dropping hints and leading up to who Ted's wife will be. The problem is, the supporting cast is so good, myself and I believe others, begin to care a little bit less about who the mother is. Especially when you the audience are dragged around and lead in circles and stretches to feel like you will never get an answer. This show is a great show and a ratings success but that's where their problem lies. Most shows that have a big question are answered in the last episode, if the show keeps doing well will we ever get an answer?
***SPOILER ALERT*** We learn last night that Ted will take a job as a professor and thats where he will meet...THE MOTHER! Followed by the last line of the show "And as you know, your mother was in that class. But that story's just beginning."****
Just the beginning?! Here is an idea for the show, meet the mother, bring her into the cast and keep the show moving! Maybe they are doing a great job leaving us hanging but at this point I'm not sure they know where, when and how long this is going to go. All I know is when Ted Mosby meets "The Mother", it better be freaking amazing. On another sidenote by the way, wasn't there a surprise party on the roof for Ted with a goat in the apartment a few episodes back? The answer is yes there was and I'm totally missing something. Someone please help me, and CBS please at least keep your timeline straight!
