The huge star from TV's Buffy the Vampire Slayer is back, except this time Sarah Michelle Gellar is twice the trouble. In her new series, Ringer, which will air on television's CW, Gellar plays twin sisters with opposite personalities.
According to a USA Today article by Bill Keveney, which was written in conjunction with Gellar's recent appearance at Comic-Con, "In the new series, Gellar plays twin sisters, Bridget, a witness who is on the run, and Siobhan, a woman with a seemingly better life. When Siobhan disappears, Bridget takes on her twin's identity." The two characters live completely different lives, which helps Gellar keep the two separate, reports Keveney.

With such a thrilling plot, Buffy fans are undoubtedly getting excited. However, according to Keveney's article, fans should not expect any supernatural elements. "There will be no vampires, no demons, no hatch," Nicole Snyder, co-executive producer of Ringer, promised. Regardless, we certainly look forward to seeing Gellar back on the small screen!
