HEROES! And by pirates I mean those who engage in the act of television piracy. A recent study has shown that the most illegally downloaded show on the internet is NOT Lost. Frequent readers of this blog will know while Anthony is here to represent Lost and Sarah is here to represent NCIS every once in a while I must jump in and remind everyone, Heroes was once "that show". It has been a bumpy ride over the last few years but I think there may be a rebirth in its future. This study shows clealry the fan base is still out there somewhere. The exact numbers for this study shows as follows:
Top 10 Worldwide TV Torrents
- Heroes; 54,562,012
- Lost; 51,151,396
- 24; 34,119,093

Two season ago the writer's strike cut the season short and caused some difficulties into the beginning of last season. No excuses needed though, the end of last season was actually quite exciting. And this season there is supposed to be a influx of new blood in the cast. Heroes creator Tim Kring gets a lot of credit as he does listen to fans complaints and does his best to make us/them happy. So as we get closer to the fall and everyone is talking about 24 and Lost and NCIS and new shows like FlashForward don't be surprised if the "surprise hit" of this season once helped to Save a cheerleader as well as the world.
