One of what is sure to be dozens of 2012 political campaigns has already hit televisions.
According to a USAToday article by Catalina Camia, "GOP presidential hopeful Ron Paul is going to hit the Iowa and New Hampshire airwaves with his first TV ad of the campaign, dramatically stressing the dangers of more debt and deals to reduce red ink." The TV ad is styled like a movie preview, reports Camia, and warns against raising our nation's debt ceiling.

The theme of Paul's campaign can be summed up by its slogan: "Standing up to the Washington machine, guided by principle." Paul's team asserts that he is the only candidate who has experience, record and credibility, reports Camia. His campaign will focus on employing his principles and accomplishments to cut federal spending.
