As a loyal diehard fan of old school TGIF, I have to say that the fact that nearly the entire cast of Full House being on Twitter is making my days a little bit more enjoyable. Sure, I may not have had all the promotional merchandise back in the day, but that doesn't mean I wasn't a loyal fan. I understand "Have Mercy." I know that Jesse's last name randomly changed. I know that Stephanie's prize possesion was Mr. Bear, and occasionally, I'll put my hands on my hips, purse my lips and give a "How Rude!" to whomever is annoying me at that given moment. So I get my daily dose of nostalgia by following:

@realbobsaget
@johnstamos
@davecoulier
@candacecbure
@jodietweetin
@scottweinger
@andreabarber

It's really fun to see a cast interact with each other and it's even more fun to watch Dave Coulier attempting to get everyone on twitter. So far the last one left is Aunt Becky! I'm not counting the Olsen twins because..well I'm just not.

I still remember the first time I ever saw Scrubs. I caught an episode in which The Todd made an inappropriate reference to Ms. Pacman and I think I laughed for 10 minutes. I remember sitting on my bunk bed in college and thinking that it was the greatest joke ever. Years later, I sit at my desk, as an adult and it's just not the same. I've grown up (that's debatable...) and so many thing have changed since JD, Turk, Carla, Elliot, Dr. Cox, the Janitor and Dr. Kelso have come into our lives. And let us not forget The Todd, Ted, Jordan, Doug, Lloyd, Beardface, Mickhead, and Giftshop Girl (has moved on and is now Ellie on Chuck!). And there was Hooch. Hooch is crazy. And if you ever want to remember him, just look to promotional t-shirts.

I'm trying not to spoil those who haven't seen this yet, like Anthony who once loved Scrubs as much as he loves Lost. He says he'll be lost again after next week, but what about me? I'm lost now! What will I do without Dr. Cox's rants? Or JD's desperate pleas for his attention. What will I do without the Janitor's crazy stories about having babies with Chinese locals or his poor wife, who only has thumb pinky? It was definitely one of the kookiest shows on TV and I miss it already. Granted I wasn't as into it since it moved to ABC, but I think that's because I knew it was ending and I just didn't want to accept it.

Wednesday night was the series finale and as I sat there and laughed while hysterically crying, I've decided I'm just too much of an emoptional person.  And as I'm typying this, I realized I just wrote emoptional...it was a honest typo, but I'm leaving it alone because it's also an homage to one of the greatest exchanges between the Janitor and JD...

Recently, there's been a slew of debates about just how far NBC's Chuck is taking their Subway sponsorship. Last Month Awesome's bachelor party was catered by Subway and just a few weeks ago, Morgan tempted Big Mike with a Chicken teryaki sandwich. He was even cradling it like a newborn. Regardless, the sponsorship might pay off as some of the most loyal Chuck fans have come up with a campaign to save the show that involves the sandwich shop. From the LA Times:

"In the meantime, "Chuck" fans are taking matters into their own hands. According to Schwartz, there is a push on the Internet to get fans to go to Subway on Monday before the season finale to buy sandwiches in support of the show. Why Subway? Because the sandwich shop was featured prominently in a recent episode. So much for product placement turning off viewers. "It shows a real sophistication on the part of the viewer," Schwartz said."

This is definitely an interesting push. A few years ago there was a huge push with imprinted promotional items being sent to the studios in support of the show Jericho, which eventually faltered but the fans support made it last one more season. Will one more season be enough? Can this go the way of Family Guy and get cancelled only to be brought back by DVD sales? Personally, I hope the subway thing works. Already, Carolina and I are getting lunch there. It might even be on the menu for dinner when I tell my aunt (a huge chuck fan) before I head over for the season finale. And if you think it's just a bunch of loyal fans heading to Subway...think again. Here's video of Zachary Levi (Chuck himself) heading to Subway.

And so is Ashton Kutcher. And CNN. And CBS is on Twitter. Which brings me to the question why no specific show twitter accounts yet? I would love to be following The Big bang Theory, or How I Met Your Mother or that other CBS show that I love NCIS! Neil Patrick Harris is on Twitter. Oprah joined yesterday. And come on, if Oprah joined, you know its cool. Or it's completely jumped the shark, but considering the fact that Twitters user base increased over 100% in the past month, its really not suprising that everyone seems to be on Twitter. In fact I'm trying to tweet right now, but I think I'm going be met with the fail whale since Oprah's tweeting is bringing down the twitterverse.

If you have absolutely NO IDEA what I'm talking about, watch this video.

Ok, so everyone remembers the classic Sir Mixalot Song, "Baby Got Back." It's one of those things thats a guilty please and for those of us that grew up in the 90s, the lyrics are as well known as "Ice Ice Baby." Not only is it funny to listen to, but it's even funnier to watch someone karaoke.  I myself have done it and I can attest that everyone fully enjoyed mine and Andrew's rendition of it. It was fantastic. So since this fun little song holds a place in my heart, I absolutely died laughing when I saw this commercial yesterday. I immediately went and shared it on facebook, where the reaction was mixed from friends. But I think it's awesome and thus, I present the Burger King King singing "I Like Square Butts."

The entire reasoning behind this was to promote the Spongebob kid's meal. I'd buy it.
